Leading in the Fast Lane believes that by helping people tackle their challenges at work, people will have more time and energy to focus on their true passion; whether that's family, hobbies, or the work itself. Either way, we're here to make your life easier, so you can focus on what's important to you.

Our Vision

Making lives better.

Our Mission

Making lives better by helping leaders solve their largest to smallest business challenges, letting them focus on their true passion, be it friends, hobbies, or work itself.

Our Values

  • Our passion (whatever that may be...)

  • Customer satisfaction

  • Employee fulfilment

  • Business excellence

History

Leading in the Fast Lane was born from the desire to unlock peoples' innate leadership abilities, to help make their lives better.  We needed to be able to build an organization that could harness the skills of great leaders (starting with those from the air force) and connect them with those aspiring to lead. We did that, but in doing so, we found that people need more than just support in leadership, so we broadened our repertoire to include all business disciplines.  With a broader focus, Leading in the Fast Lane continues to grow, and to make people lives' better, one business challenge at a time.

Our Founders

Alex Profile Photo.jpg

President (General Manager)

Alexander C. COok MEng, MBA, peng, pmp

Following university, Alex worked as a Petroleum Engineer and Project Manager. His career took a shift towards the oilfield service industry where he was a Project Engineering Manager for a wireline company operating in Iraq, Tunisia and Romania. Looking at new opportunities, Alex decided to put his experience to work, trying to help people facing their own challenges at work; big or small.

Vice President

Chloe Cook bsc, bed

After finding her true passion during university, Chloe focused on her passion and directed her efforts toward becoming an educator.  She completed a degree in mathematics, followed by an education degree.  Teaching in a rural school, Chloe was able to empirically determine which teaching methods worked best for those facing extremely high paced and changing environments — high school students. It turns out that high school students aren't the only ones facing high paced and changing environments, and with that, Chloe slipped into the private sector to apply what she had learned to leaders and followers alike.
